SessionKeep (“the Extension”) is a Chrome extension that helps you save and restore Chrome tab sessions on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what data stays local, what permissions the Extension uses, and how to contact us. It applies to the Extension listed on the Chrome Web Store and to this website at getsessionkeep.com.

Data stored on your device

Session names and tab information (such as titles and URLs) that you choose to save are stored locally in your browser profile using IndexedDB (the Extension requests the unlimitedStorage permission so large session lists are not cut off by default quotas). Optionally, you may export that data to a JSON file you control. That export is yours to store, move, or delete.

No account required for local use

Core save / restore / export / import does not require creating a SessionKeep account. We do not operate a SessionKeep cloud sync backend for that local workflow. Sessions stay on the user’s device in Chrome extension storage.

Restore behavior

Restoring a session opens tabs in a new window and does not close your existing windows.

Chrome permissions

The Extension uses tabs, windows, and unlimitedStorage only to save and restore sessions on this device. It does not request host permissions to read arbitrary website content.

• windows — Open a restored session in a new window without closing your existing ones.
• unlimitedStorage — Keep larger local session lists in IndexedDB on this device.

Website

This marketing website is static. It does not require you to create an account, and it does not provide a live checkout form. Visiting these pages does not upload your SessionKeep session data.

Payments (when a paid unlock becomes available)

SessionKeep may later offer a one-time paid unlock (planned at $12 USD). Checkout is not live today on this website or through an in-product purchase flow linked from these pages. When purchase opens, payment would be processed by a Merchant of Record under their own privacy policy, and we would receive only the license or purchase confirmation needed to unlock features—not your full card number. Until that happens, treat any “coming soon” purchase wording as informational, not an active billing system.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell your session data or user data. Local session data is not uploaded by the Extension for the free local workflow. We do not run analytics sales based on your saved tabs.

Children

SessionKeep is a productivity tool for general Chrome users. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Extension’s local workflow.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product or legal changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Extension after an update means you should review the revised policy.
